Untitled Gay Murder Mystery Play

Malcolm goes into his therapist's office and recants the evening of his partner, Ali's  30th birthday party. Which also happens to a murder mystery party. Comedy ensues! But also murder! This play explores the notions of camp, interracial relationships, and friendship through a queer lens.

For The Colored Insane

Central State Hospital, formerly known as Central Lunatic Asylum: for the colored insane, was the first mental health institution for "colored persons of unsound mind." In 1900s, Walter Freeman, a neurosurgeon, performed lobotomies on black patients throughout Virginia. This play follows a black nurse, Shelly, and a patient, Freddie, as he is about to receive the first lobotomy in history.
